Jennifer Warren

Ms. Warren is the Head of Wilmington Trust overseeing two businesses: Wealth Management and Institutional Services. Wilmington Trust’s Wealth business offers a wide range of services, including financial planning, trust and estate administration and private banking to individuals and families throughout the U.S. The Institutional Services team provides trust, custody, and agency services to corporations, government agencies, foundations, and investment plans across the U.S. and Europe.
Prior to this role Jennifer served as CEO of Computershare’s North American Issuer Services business, providing shareholder services to more than 6,000 public companies. Jennifer also served as Canadian general counsel at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) and, later as president and CEO of CIBC’s U.S. business. In these roles, Jennifer led teams across North America, navigated the challenges of the global financial crisis and repositioned the U.S. business — including broker-dealer operations, wealth management, corporate banking, real estate finance, and capital markets — for both organic and inorganic growth.
Ms. Warren began her career as a business lawyer with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and from there joined Rogers Communications Inc., where she worked for a decade in increasingly senior roles as a member of Rogers Cable management and the RCI deal team.
Ms. Warren has been a director of a number of U.S. and Canadian private companies. Today, she sits on the board of United Way of New York City.
Ms. Warren received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.
