Data Protection notice in accordance with Article 13 GDPR

This notice provides all information how Granite ("we“) are processing your personal data.

1. Purpose for which we process your personal data

We will process personal data (as described in section 2 herein) for the following purposes:

  • Pre-contractual measures (e.g. offers, contracts of drafts,)

  • Fulfilling contractual obligations

  • Fulfilling legal obligations (especially but not limited to tax and audit regulations)

The personal Data is provided by you to us.

You provide your personal data voluntary. However, if you do not provide your personal data required to fulfill the respective purpose, this purpose might not be accomplished.

2. Data Categories

We process the following personal data for the purposes as set out in section 1 herein:

  • Name (information of contact persons)

  • address

  • e-mail

  • phone number

  • bank information

3. Transfer of your Personal Data

For the purposes set out in section 1 we transfer your personal data to the following recipients:

  • associated entities within the Granite group (please find a list of our affiliated companies on our website)

  • our engaged IT – service provider

  • legal and tax consultants

  • authorities as far as those are permitted

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal information are located outside your country or process your personal information there. However, we exclusively transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, which includes standard contractual clauses (2010/87 / EC and / or 2004/915 / EC).

4. Retention Periods

Your personal data will only be kept for as long as it is required to accomplish the purposes as set out in section 1 herein and as long as this is in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations.

In any case we will keep your personal data as long as we have to fulfill statutory retention obligations or potential legal claims are not time barred.

5. Your Special Rights

In line with the applicable laws and regulations you are entitled to:

  1. receive information about which personal data is processed;

  2. to request its correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data as far as those were/are processed without legal basis;

  3. request the restriction of the process of personal data;

  4. in certain circumstances object for legitimate reasons to the processing of your personal data;

  5. to request the transfer of your personal data (as far as applicable);

  6. to request the information about the third parties your personal data is transferred to; and

  7. to lodge a complaint with the competent authority
