The Chair
The chair (the “Chair”) of the Board of Directors (the “Company Board”) of Granite REIT Inc. (the “Company”) and of the Board of Trustees (the “Trust Board”) of Granite Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Trust”) is principally responsible for overseeing the operations and affairs of the Company Board and the Trust Board (the “Boards”) .
Committee Chairs
A committee chair is principally responsible for overseeing the operations and affairs of his or her particular committee.
President & CEO
The President and Chief Executive Officer is primarily responsible for the overall management of the business and affairs of Granite REIT Inc. (the “Company”) and Granite Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Trust” and, together with the Company, “Granite”). In this capacity, the President and Chief Executive Officer shall establish the strategic and operational priorities of Granite and provide leadership for the effective overall management of Granite. The President and Chief Executive Officer is accountable to the holders of shares of the Company and units of the Trust, through the oversight of the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Company Board”) and the Board of Trustees of the Trust (the “Trust Board”), for all activities of Granite.
